UNITED STATES OF AMERICA FLAGS

 In an effort to improve shipping efficiency, this E-Commerce company worked with GRAMATECH and IMPAK Corporation to develop a system to reduce the flat-packed thickness down to 0.75". Certain sales channels like Amazon have strict weight and dimension requirements - meaning inconsistencies can cause shipping costs to go up. To ensure they maximized their success rate, they worked with IMPAK to handle this leg of the journey from planning, to fulfillment. 

This process was optimized down to:

 1) Place 1 flag into the bag cleanly

 2) Place 1 postcard in the bag facing outward, nicely

 3) Vacuum the pouch with flag and postcard facing up

 4) Apply long 3-in-1 sticker (Made in USA, Rushmore Rose, Suffocation warning) to one side

 5) Apply Barcode

 After initial flat packing, these are placed back into a carton box that can't exceed 25" in any side, and a 49lb weight. With time and efficiency taken into account, the IMPAK group helped optimize this project to deliver the best return on reliable packaging.
